Using real market data (Bloomberg), the case is very practical which allows the instructor to focus on different steps within the calculations as well as provide context. Since the case provides strategic background, the instructor can merge strategic topics with financial, allowing for deeper and more holistic discussions.
I use this case for MBA, EMBA and Executive Education. Depending on the audience, I focus on the technicalities (MBA and EMBA) or foster a more strategic discussion (EMBA and Executives). This case is best suited for corporate finance courses.
