Description
This case follows the process of making a credit evaluation for a company. The process is followed step by step as it occurs on the screens used by the managers in the office of a banking agency. The process follows the criteria set out by Basel II, with special emphasis being placed on the calculation of the "rating" and Raroc demanded by the lending agency in order to approve an operation.
This is a didactic case, which complements the technical note on the criteria for banking supervision set out by Basel II (BASEL II: The New Framework for Bank and Company Relations).
