Chemblog, A.G. (C) - Teaching Note

The Chemblog case C teaching note offers guidance on using the case in class. Case C can be used to illustrate issues of transfer pricing as a basic tool for distributing a company's profits between units that sell and buy the same product. It can also be used as a follow-up to cases A and B, as all three cases deal with the problems that can arise when an investment decision depends on the interests of different divisions, independently of how attractive it is to the company as a whole. If all three cases (A, B and C) are used, ideally they should be used across at least two sessions, but no more than three, depending on the profile of the participants.
