Critical Care, Critical Data - Using Machine Learning in the Health Care Industry (B)

To be used with the simulation Critical Care, Critical Data: Artificial Intelligence Lifecycle Simulation (OITW-1-E).

The development of GAC's AI project to improve the care of COVID patients had now gone on for several months, and it was time to make a decision. Irene Acosta, GAC's Chief Science Coordinator, had to determine whether the project was ready for deployment at the group's hospitals, or admit that despite all their efforts, the project maybe was not feasible. Irene had several things to consider: Was the AI model accurate enough to use? If so, how could she ensure that the group's healthcare professionals trusted it and adopted it? And what should GAC do to make sure the AI model remained reliable even though the virus was changing, and new treatments were appearing?
