Description
Lance Armstrong was the world’s most successful and admired cyclist ever. He won seven consecutive Tour de France. In 2012 he admitted to having used doping substances like EPO during all his career. For many years regulators and other authorities looked the other way. Only the persistency of one control agency could after many years of investigations prove the doping allegations to be right and get Armstrong to confess his doping habits publicly on TV. He defends himself by saying that in cycling “everybody does it” and “without it you cannot win important races”. He suggests a broad amnesty in order to get everybody confessing and make a new start in the cycling business possible.
