From an Academic Publisher to a Global Knowledge Ecosystem

IESE Publishing originated from "Estudios y Ediciones IESE," which managed the publication of professors' books and the translation of cases from other institutions since 1998. In 1999, under the leadership of Carlos Cavallé, the idea of creating a leading platform for Spanish-language case distribution was conceived, inspired by the European Case Clearing House. Thus, in 2000, IESE Publishing was officially founded with the goal of offering high-quality academic materials globally, both from IESE and other institutions.

Since then, IESE Publishing’s network of collaborators has grown, forging alliances with prestigious business schools and international universities. Our platform has played a key role in promoting the case method and distributing rigorous and relevant academic materials for executive education.

Today, we offer one of the largest collections of original Spanish-language cases, along with materials in English and six other languages, created by top business schools worldwide. Our recent website upgrade enhances user experience with more intuitive navigation, an optimized search engine, and personalized recommendations. Additionally, the Content Explorer section enables efficient access to relevant materials tailored to academic and professional needs.

Since our inception in 1958, IESE has been a pioneer in using the case method as a fundamental tool for developing business leaders. Over the years, we have produced thousands of case studies used in over 130 countries. Beyond case studies, IESE has promoted the creation and distribution of technical notes, research articles, practical exercises, simulations, and other educational materials that enhance learning and facilitate the practical application of knowledge in the classroom.
