Description

Maneerut "Nok" Anulomsombut has just been appointed COO of Garena Thailand (Garena), a fast-growing online gaming company. When damaging rumors about one of the company's applications begin spreading among Garena's Thai customer base, Nok is solely responsible for resolving the ensuing crisis. Though the rumors are unfounded, they threaten to undermine Garena's relationship with its critical partners, permanently damage its reputation, and jeopardize the company's future in Thailand. Now Nok is dealing with media reporting on the rumors, the concerns of anxious employees, friends and family calling to ask what’s going on, and her responsibilities to Garena and headquarters in Singapore-all on top of caring for her severely ill son. What can Nok, an engineer and former BCG consultant, do to handle the situation swiftly and thoroughly?
