Orderly Thinking: How to Deal With Prudential Problems
This note reviews the discoveries regarding methods of thinking strictly with a view to action that have been accumulated by a large team of IESE faculty who have set out to continue what Juan A. Pérez López started in 1965 under the heading of "Case Analysis" (which, since the introduction of the MBA, has come to be known as "Analysis of Business Problems").
The note encourages a process of self-analysis and makes some practical suggestions to stimulate ongoing improvement of the personal capacity to think in an orderly fashion. The note is recommended as a summing up at the end of the MBA, or at the end of the Analysis of Business Problems course.
