PolyPanel is a distributor of panels for new building reforms. It is located in Munich and has sales of around 3 million. It is a new company (three years old) and a small one (seven employees). PolyPanel faces the typical problems of a start up. The case illustrates the growing need for financing due to growing sales and the deterioration of policies regarding collection and inventories.
