    Description

    Leading Electronics tells the story of a Regional President of a large consumer electronics company who undergoes a personal conversion to sustainability and then uses his position to create a social movement to plant trees in response to climate change. His challenge is how to extend his success to the rest of the global organization.

    Learning Objective

    The purpose of the case is to allow students to explore the role that personal conviction has in leading a company towards a more sustainable positioning and also to look at the limits that a large multinational can place on such personal initiative.
