The Project Life Cycle: Monitoring
One of the ways to study how projects are managed is by reviewing the different stages along the project life cycle. The execution and monitoring stage is at the core of the project life cycle. We do the selection, definition, planning stages in order to eventually execute the project. It is at this stage when everything we have done in previous stages come to life, and we need to have a monitoring system to be able to track its evolution, and discover if a significant deviation from the plan occurs that deserves some action.
