DocDoc: Building an AI-Centered Patient Intelligence Company
Grace Park and Cole Sirucek, husband and wife co-founders of DocDoc, a Singapore-based patient intelligence company, built an AI-powered matching engine-HOPE, to address the acute lack of transparency in matching patients with doctors with good treatment outcomes at the lowest possible prices. Since 2019, Park and Sirucek had attempted to monetize HOPE through a software-as-a-service subscription model to health insurance companies. By 2023, however, after a fourth pilot that had exceeded expectations, the company had not gained traction with its business model. Park and Sirucek had to decide on the future of DocDoc. Should they find another way forward?
