    Description

    The case takes a close look at the bank-company relationship, highlighting the need for balance and for both parties to benefit. Particular emphasis is placed on the need for the relationship to be based on long-term considerations, regardless of economic fluctuations that may favour one or other of the parties in the short term. The case also introduces two alternative sources of non-bank short-term finance: factoring and confirming.
