In 2010, Grupo Alimentario Guissona-with its two flagships, Cooperativa Agropecuaria Guissona and Corporación Alimentaria Guissona-was the leader in the Spanish meat sector with a turnover of ?1.1 billion, 9000 cooperative members, 4500 shareholders, and 3000 employees, half of whom were immigrants from 42 different countries.
