Situation

Françoise Delplanque was facing an oncoming technological evolution in the eyeglass lens sector. 3D printing had made inroads and it was necessary to review the production system at Glassy Lenses. After visiting a factory, Delplanque tried to make sense of what she had seen. She was incapable of answering even the simples question: what was the production capacity of the factory?
