Gonzalo is a 31-year-old telecommunications engineer with experience at Telefónica, particularly in the Cybersecurity Unit. He is at a critical point in his career. After studying for an EMBA at IESE Business School to complement his technical background with business acumen, he decided to seek new professional challenges outside of Telefónica because he felt he had stopped learning and growing there.
Two unique opportunities have presented themselves: the first is an offer to lead a cybersecurity startup as CEO, proposed by a renowned entrepreneur in the sector with whom Gonzalo shares a vision. The chance to start a project from scratch in a growing sector and the prospect of returning to northern Spain are highly appealing to him.
The second is a position at Microsoft as an Enterprise Security Sales Specialist in Madrid. He would focus on the security business of large Swiss accounts in Spain. This position offers him a solid financial package, the chance to work in a multicultural environment, and the opportunity to learn about emerging technologies, such as AI and the cloud.
