The shared administration program and local health administration associations (CLAS)
In recent years, CLASs have undergone a process of nationwide growth and deployment in Peru. CLASs are community-based, non-profit organizations formed to co-manage the Ministry of Health's primary care centers. The case describes aspects of the Peruvian health reforms, concentrating on this shared management arrangement, which today covers almost 20% of the public health system.
