Fashiop: A Box of Surprise

Fashiop was a start-up whose objective was to dress men who didn't like going to shops or who didn't have the time to go. Its new online personal shoppers service eliminated all the inconveniences about shopping: after a phone interview, a personalized selection of clothes would be sent to the customer's home, who after trying them, would decide which ones to keep and which to return. Delivery and styling were free and the clothes were sold at the price recommended by the manufacturer. Is this business model sustainable? Are its operations scalable? These are some of the questions asked of the main character of the case study, who was thinking whether to invest in the company or not.
