It is involved in the refinement, processing, storage and transportation of these products. On the other hand, Xstrata is one of the world´s largest mining and metals companies - a major producer of seven commodities used in everything from construction to mobile phones. This Anglo-Swiss multinational company headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, has operations in more than 20 countries and employs more than 70,000 people globally.
