Reiner Meinhold at Kölner Bank (D): The Team
Although Reiner had acted in his own professional interest, deep down he felt as though he were abandoning some of the team members. In the following months, he continued to show an interest in how they were doing. Shortly thereafter, rumors began to circulate about a possible merger with DHB. Several promising professionals were hired.
By the time the merger went through in November 2012, no one on Reiner's team remained at Kölner: Marion joined his new team; he helped other people to find jobs at leading banks, consultancies and other firms; and the remaining consultants rotated.
